                                                            Creator over Creation  


    Think, if you will, of some things on earth that are most valuable to you.  This may include material/physical items but also other important non-material pursuits like family, employment, relationships, achievement, security, pleasure, success, health, and so forth. 
    Although these may all certainly be precious to us for several reasons, are there any, whatsoever that can remotely compare with…God Himself?  Are there any of those we named that might be anywhere in the same ball park?  Absolutely not.  And furthermore, the distance in value between God and all the others would be astronomical.  God would be placed at the top of the charts (actually off the charts), at the ceiling, while all the others would be bunched closely together on the floor.  
    The difference is this…One is the Creator.  All the others are the creation.  There is actually no comparison.  All of creation points directly to the Creator.  Life itself is a gift from God.  All of nature including the entire universe has been provided by our gracious and loving God, and everything in it in a way shouts the praises of its Creator.  Each moment of life in this world is sustained by Him.  If God removed His hand from this universe for an instant, we would perish along with everything in it.  
     Nothing creatED is comparable to the CreatOR in value or importance.  As a matter of fact, everything in the universe COMBINED is not comparable.
